About the Trainer

PURPOSE

I am here to give you and your dog a better life.  I have 6 dogs myself so I understand the importance of that companionship and bond. When you learn how to lead and communicate with your furry friend they can behave better for you.  You may have heard that dog trainers don't train dogs, they train people. Well that's mostly true.  Use my experience and expertise to make your lives and bond better.

LOCAL

I'm an Orlando native who graduated from UCF with a bachelor's degree in Psychology which is the study of behavior.  This has helped me completely understand all the concepts used in training and conditioning dog behavior.  After college I was the Director of Training for an organization that trained Service Dogs and pet dogs.  This taught me the importance of good behaviors to be able to take your dog out around town.  I focus my training strategies on Service Dog level training.

VETERAN AND TEACHER

I served in the US Army.  My service in the military taught me the importance of discipline and leadership.  The same techniques work great with dogs by using clear commands and communication.  My time as a teacher taught me the importance of teaching focus before substance.  When your dog is more focused on you then they will follow your lead better.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINER

I am a full time professional dog trainer with extensive experience training pet dogs, Service Dogs, puppies, minor issues, major issues, leash pulling and reactivity, behavior modification, and aggressive behaviors.  So if you need help in any of these areas I'd love to assist you today.
